I've been struggling with a couple different cavities for a while now. One on each side.

Well, as I'm discovering, it seems one of my fillings is going bad. That or there's a cavity that's developed under it. (Pretty sure it's even discolored the tooth).

Between the original cavity and this new one, it literally felt like something was trying to eat the left side of my face earlier. I took 4 ibuprofen about 30 or so minutes ago and it's dulled somewhat but... not much. On the pain scale it went from about a 9 (I was fighting tears) down to about a 5/6. It's still throbbing, but my face doesn't feel like it's being eaten as much.

Still, if I'm to get any sleep I need something to dull this so I'm going to add a couple tylenol on top for now.  This is hell on your stomach lining though and since it was a while since I've eaten I have to eat again... at 4:47 in the morning. Joy and fun.

Hopefully this should knock it down to at least a 2.... please let this go back down to a 1/2.!

Not having insurance is for the birds. Please, Obama, don't let that health bill be over turned and let it fix some of the dental issues too. Lady knows how much longer I can handle living like this. (Mentally and physically.)

There are dental freeclinics out there... I just don't know where you're at right now! And if you've got a tech school that has a dentistry program nearby, they'll take care of basic maintenance once you've had a doctor deal with the horrid things.

Shouldn't there be a clinic that will treat your cavities without insurance? It seems idiotic to need insurance for something like that. I mean, there people who don't have insurance and they might end up in pain or dead when they can't get treated because of that.

I hope it gets better for you and you can see a dentist. *hugs*
