I've seen versions of the icon directly using Sailor Moon stuff, too; which is amusing but I always liked this LJ-oriented one.

And yeah, I understand you. I know who you are, too. XD It's not that I don't care about people, but a lot of my AIM list, for example, might be people I contacted because of RP to discuss some specific plot point, and I never ended up really talking to them regularly, so eventually... I'm not even sure who the name means anymore (not so much now that AIM lets us use nicknames). And I'm bad at keeping in touch with people anyway. >_<

Eh... 208 communities? Part of what's so slow is I'm digging through journals to see if they're worth keeping based on how often they update and if the content is something I'm interested in.

I wanted to rename anyway, so when I did, I checked yes to clearing out my flist and comms, then pieced back together the comms I definitely wanted and re-added friends I definitely talked to regularly.

That worked for me mostly because I was sure if I didn't actively think 'Wait, where did X comm go?', it wasn't a comm to keep on my list.

Yeah, I did that when I re-named a while back. Of course that doesn't help me now since I'm poor and don't plan on re-naming anytime soon.

Eventually I'll probably cave and rename to Otakudere, but we'll see how that goes once I have actual money.

Yeah, that was more or less my feeling on the matter too.

The icon I just used is from B Gata H Kei, which is way better than the premise sounds. Though if you don't like comedy and random bits of fail!perviness then it's probably not the show for you. I couldn't turn down a show where it's the main female lead and not the male lead who was all "I want to score! :D" especially since she's such a derp about it.

Ah, it's more or less the "We don't seem to have anything in common to talk about" route here, to be honest. The three friends we have in common are, well special snowflakes. Well... Mia is anyway. A yellow snowflake more than likely at that.

I guess you could say I'm more or less trying to focus on the here and now and not on the days that went before if you catch my hint? And without that, I'm not really sure what we have in common. Maybe you can catch me on aim or some other im system sometime and we can find out?

Cutting communities was brutal. By the time I was done I'd gone from 208 to 91. Don't want to do that ever, ever again.
