I actually like the characters in the game. I've just never really been able to get into the game for some reason. I've at least briefly tried my hand at most of the FF titles in existence and out of them all 7 is the one that I really have no desire to sit down and actually beat.

Give me a remake Square, with pretty new graphics and I'll try to slog my way through to see if the journey is really as awesome as everyone says it is.
