Nothing like a random friend-remove notification to make you wonder where, how, or what you've done wrong/messed up. Especially when it's someone you thought you were on fairly decent terms with.

Should probably drop her a note, ask what's up, but I think I'll wait a little bit since there's a chance it might sound whiny, accusatory, or something. ~~Because the only thing I can think I've done wrong lately is accidentally call someone else her name in a conversation, which is understandable as sleep deprived as I've been lately.~~

Ah well. Time to piddle around a bit more and then maybe try for some more sleep. 5 hours of sleep after being up 24 hours is kind of a sucky deal after all.

Offending someone would imply I've posted enough to actually say something offensive. Which I've certainly been fairly inactive lately though I've been better at being more active here lately or at least attempting to be more active anyway.

I admit, comics are like this huge thing for me right now. Which isn't a surprise if anyone's seen my poor tumblr lately. It's all DC right now man. All DC. Though I still enjoyed that huge rambly blog about DC and women/disabled characters, because it was a fun venty thing. I don't do venty things nearly often enough.Maybe. :(

Me and internet drama as a whole are a rare combo to begin with, but you know that. So I really dunno.

I didn't know there were friend-remove notifications. TBH I have considered removing one or two people from my friends list because I know them IRL and I don't know any other current LJ users IRL, and I kind of wish I didn't have to censor myself to stuff I don't have to worry about getting back to people IRL (e.g. complaints about family, posting fic porn, etc.).

You're the one who conned me into getting a tumblr in the first place. lol it's Sheroes.

Oh goodness me. I imagine as a rule it'd be really weird having people you know IRL on LJ. The only people I've met IRL on my LJ are people I met through LJ so it's not really an awkward situation since they've already been there done that.

I knew there was a remove notification which I personally think sucks for LJ to put that up. Because sometimes people will defriend for various reasons and I would rather not know if I get defriended.

Back to you, it sucks for that to happen. You could always ask, chances are you might have been accidentally removed due to your being away for a long while. If not, then accept it and move on.

Yeah, I got into LJ when I was a lot younger and it was sort of a different place. It was my only online space and I told all my friends and stuff. Most of them did not ever get a livejournal though, so I can just flock anything I don't want those people to see...but a few of my friends did have LJ and we friended each other. And I've been thinking about dropping them but now that it won't be discreet, and I am waaaay too timid to have THAT conversation (plus to say what will inevitably come across as "yeah I don't trust you"), I'll have to continue dealing. I can mostly post what I want and everything, it just sometimes feels confining.

I've had that happen to me a few times as well. It really does comes as a shock, but whatever. They are the ones that seem to have the problem, and I'm too fly to be upset over it.

You could just make a posting filter that doesn't have them on it? It'd take care of the issue at least.

Argh, I always hate that feeling of wondering why you weren't good enough. Makes me sad and wonder what I did wrong...
