First Fandom of 2012:  Looking at the anime list that was running at the time I'm going to say Aquarion EVOL more than likely was the first new fandom.
Favorite Main Character of 2012: Commander Shepard. The girl version because for me at least the idea of Shepard being a guy is just so weird.
Favorite Villain of 2012:  I don't really do favorite villains, because I'm a straight-laced twit and as a whole don't like the idea of idolizing bad behavior. Because I need even more shoujo protag tropes in my life, right? Same answer as last year, awwe yeah. Some things don't change.
Favorite Video Game Character of 2012: Am I allowed to answer Shepard here too? Or is that cheating? For a non-Shepard answer then I'd have to say.... Garrus maybe? I've been on a huge Garrus kick lately. Honorable mention to Kaiden who's also from Mass Effect and Noel from Final Fantasy XIII-2
Favorite Game of 2012: the Mass Effect trilogy.
Favorite Het Couple of 2012: Shepard/Garrus and Shepard/Kaidan. Going for a non-ME thing we'll say Natasha/Clint or Natasha/Coulson from Avengers.
Favorite Yuri Couple of 2012: I don't think I really have a specific one. Shepard/Liara maybe?
Favorite Yaoi Couple of 2012:  Hm.... Clint/Coulson, but does it count if I prefer it with a side of Natasha? Also I actually kind of ship James Vega/Steve Cortez in Mass Effect 3. Oops?
Fandom That You Never Expected To Get Into:  Mass Effect?
Fandom That Made An Unexpected Comeback: Mass Effect. I actually started the game near the beginning of the year and it was okay then, but later it just hit me really, really hard and now I can't get enough of it.
Fandom That Inspired The Most Crack: I'm not sure if I've done too much crack this year and most of what I have has been cross-canon. My bad?
Last Fandom of 2012: Mass Effect.
